Temple Family

Going to the temple makes the soul feel so good.  We had a particularly good session where everyone was helping one another.  I love that.  The temple workers assure you there is no rush, and everyone is patient and helpful.

I also love seeing all the various nationalities represented in the faces of all of my beautiful brothers and sisters.  Today, we had a Polynesian family getting ready to send off a missionary.  I visited a little bit with the proud grandma.

There was a mother and son from India, a black woman, several Mexican people.  There were redheads, blonds, brunettes.  One woman’s hair hung down to the back of her legs.  Can you be green with envy in the temple?  One woman’s hair was inky black; she sat next to a blond.

Going to the temple with strangers can be a wonderful experience, because somehow we don’t feel like strangers.  We all have the attitude of friendly connection.  But going with people that you know and love can be a heightened experience.  Sharing the glories of the eternities with loved ones is exceptionally sweet.

This is a preview of what it’s going to be like when we all stand together to greet the Lord.  And I don’t want to be anywhere else.
