We’ve been told to proudly hang our belief on the walls of our homes. This framed piece of personal art makes me happy every time I walk into my room. It does it’s job of reminding me who I am and what is important to me.<\/p>\n

I love how Helaman teaches his sons, Lehi and Nephi.<\/p>\n

And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must<\/p>\n

build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation, whereon if men build they cannot fall.\u201d (Helaman 5:12)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I love that he says, \u2018a sure foundation\u2019. I also love how sure, or anchored, I feel when I am living the commandments.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>While serving on my mission, all the sisters would get together for a sisters conference.\u00a0 At one of these conferences, my mission president\u2019s wife created an activity where we put together our own collages of the gospel principles we studied and taught each and every day.\u00a0 We cut up pictures, quotes, and scriptures from lesson pamphlets and pass-along cards and pasted them, making a visual representation of what we felt was the foundation of our testimonies. While all the other sisters ditched their collages as soon as they could, I kept mine throughout my mission. I even brought it home with me and still have it today. I\u2019ve made quite a few renovations over the years, but the foundations of my testimony are still represented.<\/p>\n
