The Book of Mormon depicts the Restoration to the End of the Millennium

The Book of Mormon parallels the time of the restoration to the end of the Millennium or the celestialization of the earth.

 

Book of Mormon

Lehi – Father, Patriarch and had Vision of the Tree of Life

Nephi – Younger son, Prophet, King or Governor of the land

Mosiah I – Lead exodus to Zarahelma

King Benjamin – Great speech on the atonement

Mosiah II – Political changes from Kings to Judges

Alma – Great missionary work to the Lamanites, great wars

Helaman – Secret Combinations and terror

3 Nephi – Savior visits Nephites

4 Nephi – Peace

Mormon/Moroni – End of the Millennium

 

Latter-days

Joseph Smith, Sr. – Father, Patriarch and had a Vision of the Tree of Life in 1811*

Joseph Smith, Jr. – Younger son, Prophet, Head of the government (Nauvoo)

Brigham Young – Lead exodus to the west

John Taylor – Wrote the Mediation & Atonement

Wilford Woodruff – Political manifesto and statehood

Rest of the 20th century Latter-day Prophets – Great missionary work, World I, II, etc

Today – Secret Combinations and terror

Future – 2nd coming of Christ

Future – Peace during the Millennium

Future – End of the Millennium

The Book of Mormon was truly written for our day to prepare us for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. We need to follow the counsel of our prophets and always read this sacred book of scripture.
